FAQ
Frequently asked questions about Melty answered quickly and easily.
How should melty chocolate be best consumed?
Melty chocolate is not conventional chocolate like you find in the supermarket. Our chocolate is enriched with natural ingredients such as maca, ginseng and L-arginine.
We designed the Melty chocolate chips so that they can be split in half. One half is for your partner and the other half is for you.
This half corresponds to the recommended daily amount of about 10g.
Which active ingredients are processed in the chocolate?
In addition to cocoa, we use the active ingredients maca, ginseng and L-arginine for our Melty chocolate.
You can find more information here: ingredients.
What exactly can I understand by the active ingredients?
We only use natural active ingredients, whereby Maca and Ginseng are also plant-based. Specifically, Maca is a root tuber from Peru. Ginseng, also
known as Panax Ginseng, is an Asian plant, with the focus here being on the root of the plant. L-arginine is a semi-essential amino acid of the body. It is produced by the body itself and is absorbed through food, among other things, as part of a balanced diet.
Is there a recommended daily dose of the individual additives?
There is no general daily consumption recommendation for maca and ginseng, as these are classified as food. We only provide a guideline, which depends on factors such as weight, health status and age. For L-arginine, an amino acid, the daily consumption recommendation listed below should be followed.
Recommended daily dose of Maca: 3-4 grams; max. 6 grams / day
Recommended daily dose of ginseng: 1-2 grams, max. 3 grams / day
Daily dose of L-arginine*: max. 1.6 grams / day
*If you consume half a tablet per day, your body absorbs 0.225g of L-arginine.
Is Melty Chocolate suitable for women and men?
Since we use plant-based additives and amino acids that our bodies produce themselves in our chocolate, it is equally suitable for women and men.
Who is Melty not suitable for?
Melty Chocolate is not suitable for children, pregnant women, breastfeeding women and people who have had a heart attack. If you are taking medication to lower your blood pressure, are on a low-protein diet or suffer from kidney or liver disease, please consult your doctor or ask at the pharmacy beforehand.

Since our Melty Chocolate contains additives, we do not recommend consumption by children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
